This Thoroughbreds Movie Trailer Is All Sorts Of Creepy And Delightful
Dark comedies have been a cherished genre for decades and it is a common birthplace of cult classic films like Heathers and Death at a Funeral. These movies are often some of my favorites and are usually a fun way to discover fresh new talented actors, actresses and directors. Thoroughbreds is the directorial debut of Cory Finley and only the second project he's credited as writing for. The cast however is much more recognizable with names like Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch and Split,) Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel and The Quiet Ones,) Anton Yelchin (Star Trek and Charlie Bartlett.) The movie will be In theaters March 9th 2018 and looks amazing.
The synopsis for the movie on IMDB is as follows: Two upper-class teenage girls in suburban Connecticut rekindle their unlikely friendship after years of growing apart. Together, they hatch a plan to solve both of their problems-no matter what the cost.
