Nerd Culture Is Front And Center At Creativation - By Lindsay Ostrom
Everywhere you look these days, you see things that scream "nerd". That theme has carried over into the crafting world. I attended the CREATIVATION show in Phoenix Az where buyers go to purchase craft and hobby items for their stores. Everywhere I turned there was another licensed item with Harry Potter or Marvel or other super heros. They've made stickers, rubber stamps, scrapbook papers, iron on patches etc. I did buy quite a few goodies to sell in our store because we are getting asked for anything crafty in the "nerd" genre.
