Apple Revealed the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone 10 (X)
Today Tim Cook and friends took to the stage to announce the next generation of iPhones. For the past few years, we have seen fewer and fewer changes in these devices to really get excited about. Apple took far too long to upgrade the internal memory in their phones or add features like waterproofing and wireless charging. The big selling point (for me) with the IPhone has always been its camera and easy to use OS. I'm currently holding onto my 16 gig 6 and I've been eagerly awaiting this reveal to see if Apple would get my attention again. Check out the key note and see what you think of these new devices!
The 10 has me a little intrigued at this point but the price is pretty rough. You also need to consider the Pixel 2 is rumored to be released in October. It seems like Apple is definitely pushing to be the innovators they once were. The problem (as always) is that many of these features can already be found on phones like the Pixel and Galaxy 8. The other hinderence in my purchase of a next gen handheld (when considering an amazing pocket camera) is the existence of the Light 16 camera. Though it's still in early release and reviews are just now coming in, this technology could prove to be a true game changer and maybe find its way into a smart phone in the next few years. If you don't know which camera I'm talking about, check it out here.

So while I'm not rushing out to preorder one of these personally, the 10 does look pretty stunning and that camera seems as good as expected from an Apple phone. To see a full tech review, check out one from Wired here.
