The Flobots Release Dis Track In Response To Logan Paul's Misogynistic Handlebars Rip Off
A few weeks ago, Youtube's resident douchebag, Logan Paul, released a new music video called "No Handlebars." Certain viewers quickly noticed the songs remarkable likeness to a popular track by the band Flobots. One of these listeners just happened to be the lead vocalist of the Flobots himself, Jamie Laurie. Jamie didn't hold back in his criticism of Paul's use of their music even tweeting out:
Jamie simply wanted to point out how the Flobots track is about empowerment and inspiring a culture where as Logan's... well... Let's just say "I can ride your girl with no handlebars" isn't exactly empowering. The Flobots decided to go one step further by releasing a dis track called "Handle Your Bars" aimed directly at Logan (and probably a warning to anyone planning on copying them in the future.)
If you're familiar with Logan, you'll know this isn't the first time his attitude or world views have gotten him and his frother Jacob in trouble. He and his friends have faced several lawsuits from people including neighbors and even their own fans. Here's a tweet he sent out addressing the viral bullying video of 11 year old Keaton Jones.
In case it's been a while since you've heard the FLobots, I've included the video below. If you want to hear how much it compare's to Logan Paul's song, that video is included as well. So what are your thoughts? Do you think it's a blatant rip off? Do you think it's different enough that Logan should be allowed to make the song? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
