Watch The New Trailer For The "Batman Ninja" Anime Movie

Batman Ninja is an all new, feature-length anime set to release in Japan in 2018. The movie boasts an impressive creative team including the Afro Samurai creator, Takashi Okazaki; and director Jumpei Mizusaki, who is best known for his work on several Mega Man properties. The overal plot of the movie seems to involve some sort of time travel story line. According to Imdb: "Batman, along with a number of his allies and adversaries, finds himself transplanted from modern Gotham City to feudal Japan." Batman Ninja has been in creation since 2014 and actually involved the filming of live action fight choreography that was used as a reference for the animation. It'll be refreshing to get a new Batman title that is in a completely different and unique setting. No word yet on the voice actors who willl do the English dubs or when America will get an official release but we'll try to update this as soon as we know.
